BRP protests in Athens against women abductions in Balochistan

Geneva: Baloch Republican Party Central spokesman Mr. Sher Mohammad Bugti, in a media statement, has said that BRP Greece Chapter held a protest demonstration in the country’s Capital, Athens.

The protest was aimed at highlighting abductions of Baloch women and children in recent phase of military operations in Mashkay, Awaran and Naseerabad areas of Balochistan.

Mr. Bugti expressed gratitude towards the Athens based Afghan Community for participating in the protest and showing solidarity for the Baloch nation.

While addressing the protesters, BRP Greece Chapter’s President, Aslam Kiyyazi, has said that Pakistan army abducted four Baloch women along with their five children during a military operation on their house in Naseerabad, Balochistan.

Unfortunately, the Pakistani civil society and Human rights organizations have shown bitter silence over the atrocities committed by the state army.

He further said that “A few days ago, Pakistani forces abducted several women and children in Awaran and Mashkay. Some were released while others are disappearing till date.”

He urged the international community including human rights organizations to break their silence over the Pakistani state atrocities in Balochistan, adding that the Pakistani army won’t just stop in Balochistan but rather advance its atrocities across the world if treated with silence in Balochistan today.
